Museum Of London - Christmas Parties
Firebird Events, The Finishing Touch and Party Ingredients have entered into an agreement with the Museum of London to exclusively stage Christmas Parties at the Museum throughout December 2010. Following a £20 million refurbishment, the Museum of London offers one of the most innovative event spaces in the City. Titled “Visions of London” we are able to offer dinners, parties and cocktail receptions from late November through to the 23rd December.

A Vision of London’s past and future….. Guests are invited on a spectacular journey through the Galleries of Modern London, a journey that will unravel stories from 1666 to the present day. Stunning exhibits and fascinating interactive displays lead the way.
Reception drinks and canapés can be served to your guests as they move through time, passing the 18th Century Pleasure Gardens and cobbled streets before soaking up the atmosphere of the roaring 20s outside the Savoy Grill and the original Selfridges lift.
A stroll through the 1960s and 70s takes guests into the City Gallery where they will enjoy drinks alongside the iconic Lord Mayor’s Coach, built in 1757 this provides a truly spectacular and unique backdrop.
Guests will then step into the future where Visions of London and images of 2012 and beyond are portrayed. This area seamlessly links directly into the contemporary Sackler Hall with its 48 meter LED ellipse suspended from the ceiling, a spectacular feature and the only one of its kind in the United Kingdom. Complimented by a bank of 9 plasma screens, it can be programmed to display logos, presentations, films or bespoke creative commissions.
Sackler Hall provides magnificent surroundings for seated dinners, catering for up to 550 guests or as the hub for larger bowl food and canapé events. Decorative lighting and futuristic imagery combine with delicious catering as guests are able to soak up the atmosphere of this innovative venue.
After dinner, guests will be invited through to the Linbury Gallery where our Olympian Nightclub can be found. Featuring spectacular lighting and state of the art sound positioned around a central dance floor, flanked with chill out zones and a semi circular light bar, this is sure to create the perfect environment to complete you spectacular event.
