Science Museum - Christmas Parties
Following the success of Christmas 2009, Firebird Events, The Finishing Touch, Party Ingredients and the Science Museum have entered into an agreement to stage Christmas Parties at the Science Museum for the second year running. The Science Museum offers one of the most innovative event spaces in London and throughout December 2010 we are able to offer dinners, parties and cocktail receptions from late November through to the 23rd December.
National Treasure
An evening of intrigue, mystery and discovery awaits guests in the search for the National Treasure hidden deep in the heart of the Science Museum.
As the main doors to the Museum are locked and the galleries drift into darkness the hunt for the National Treasure begins. An ancient treasure map leads the way into a dimly lit back street where a secluded entrance can be found, a mysterious Museum Curator questions guests before directing them into the heart of the Museum.
The quest has finally begun and guests will venture through to the Hall of Maps or Flight Gallery where reception drinks will be served. A sliding bookcase reveals the secret entrance to an ancient vault
adorned with stone statues, an 8 meter stone effect bar and gargoyles. To the rear of the vault, slightly hidden from view and flanked by tall pillars shrouded in drapes lies the entrance to the Temple of Gold and the National Treasure. The Temple of Gold, washed with gold lighting and filled with golden artefacts is our main dining area catering for up to 500 guests.
After dinner our nightclub discotheque will spring to life in the ancient vault allowing guests to dance away into the twilight hours.
